Madi Patrick-Jantzen took this photo of the tornado that formed briefly five miles northwest of Grant on June 6. According to the National Weather Service, the tornado was on the ground for only around one minute. No damage was reported from this tornado.

On June 6, at around 7:15 p.m., the air was eerily still in the town of Grant as a spring storm that had been building for hours approached.
